Inspired by 1950s references, Baume & Mercier first introduced the Clifton Collection at SIHH 2013. This year, the brand builds on the introductory time-only pieces by introducing new complications, including the handsome?Clifton chronograph?we recently showed you. Of the new releases, there is one in particular that succeeds in balancing wearability, practicality, and just a touch of something different: the Clifton Retrograde Date Automaticpared to the standard method for displaying the date C via an aperture C the retrograde date function is more difficult to seamlessly incorporate into the design of a dial. This might be why many manufactures avoid the complication altogether, though when done properly it can be exceptional. Opinions please on this 1969 Speedy
Hi Guys, could I please have your opinions on this mint 1969 speedy.

Vintage Omega Bracelet question
Hi folksHope some here with deep experience can help answer a question on whether I can get a replacement bracelet to work with my old Omega Automatic.First, the case number is 166.070, polished stainless, and the lugs are sized for 18mm end links. The original bracelet is no longer made and I've exchanged email with Bob Frei to choose a suitable replacement. I'm looking at the Omega Bead of Rice bracelet model 3010 but there are 3 different end links (511, 512, 514) they offer for that one. Even Bob is stumped on which would work. I have a call into Omega but not holding my breath on a definitive answer there. So the question is, which compatible case number from the list associated with the 3 end link choices makes sense? To see the bracelet/end links, here's the link: .ofrei/page1280.html I know this is a lot of detail but I didn't want to be vague on such a precise question. The watch itself looks like this:
5711 or 5167r? Help!
What do you think as a kind of one and only? Can be had roughly for about the same price on the second hand market.. LOVE the 5167R for the warmth of the rose gold... but the 5711 is so iconic?Looking at trading my 118238 YG Diamond Dial... let me know thoughts!P.s Have other beat up watches in Tag/Breitling.. so would be business/dressy/light sport/pool side duties ;)
