Inside The Manufacture: The Making Of F.P.Journe's Most Complicated Watch
Before we get started, we need to talk about just what a grande sonnerie is, and what it's not. A grande sonnerie is not a cartoonish complication. A grand sonnerie hasn't been taken from the highest echelons of true artisanal watchmaking to become a status symbol for anyone who can string together a few bucks. There are no movement shops selling off-the-shelf grande sonneries to fashion brands. My first AP -- the new 15710 ST Diver
Happy to join the AP family. Been considering an AP for a while -- but wasn't sure which one and finally pulled the trigger when on a business trip in Hong Kong at an AD there.Just got back and only time for a quick iPhone pic -- but looking forward to learning more about the watch. I am already thinking about getting a bracelet for it as I've seen some of the other pics in this forum with the Diver on a bracelet and it looks great! Does AP make a bracelet to fit this new model with the sapphire caseback? If so -- will any ROO bracelet fit? And how hard is it to change the strap? Thanks,Ed
Strolled into the AD to window shop....
And left with this! I was not planning on buying anything but it was such a lucky and rare find, I decided to pull the trigger. It killed my watch budget for the year but it should pair nicely with my hulk. I am so excited! https://instagram/p/BdF6ug3HMX2/
