Romain Jerome Chrono Tourbillon Limited Edition Watch
The newest high-end wrist watch from Romain Jerome is another version of their Titanic DNA and tourbillon collection. The naming of the brand's watches has gotten shorter over the years which is a good thing, but the DNA hasn't changed. I appreciate that the name of the watch is just the "Romain Jerome Chrono Tourbillon."The case is the same 46mm wide size that RJ has been using for a few years. I still like the looks of it even though it is a unique style. Not everyone likes the oxidized steel bezel look. It is part of the Titanic DNA concept trying to replicate the look of metal that has been under water. Actually, it isn't so much trying to look like but is. Each of these bezels is oxidized under water to get the signature look. The metal used has a bit of metal recovered from the actual Titanic ship as part of the collection's ongoing theme. For this collection there will be three models available. Each are limited editions. Actually all Romain Jerome watches are limited editions. T
First AP, and I couldn't be happier!
Hi Everyone,I've been a long-time Rolex and Panerai Owner, but today I became an even happier AP Owner...suddenly the stars have aligned, and the right 26300 for me just happened to show up in the hands of DavidSW. As most of you know, David's timepieces are always immaculate, to say the least. Excellent guy, highly recommended to do business with. And, when I say that the stars have aligned, I really mean it, since I live about 40 mins from DavidSW offices, and 1 hour from AP newly established Customer Service Center, in Clearwater FL...what more motivation could I ask for to pull the trigger!!!...Oh yes, there is another piece of motivation: This 26300 was originally purchased from an AP Boutique in 05/2015...which gives it plenty of warranty!Today, I grabbed my Daytona, drove my 40 mins, met with DavidSW, unhesitantly traded in my watch (plus $$$),...and I am now the happy owner of this bad boy:
In Da CLUB
Well, that's it, officially in the club, just got the diver at the AP private showroom, was given a very cool travel pouch for it, nicer than the Patek travel pouch. The watch is awesome, of course I am a little in shock size size compared with my 5712, but I am sure I will get used to it, anyways I am leaving on holidays in 4 days and am taking only the diver, the Patek stays at homeHere's a few pics, again sorry for the crappy quality, I have an excellent camera but it's not digital1a8bea10fda12d46622d7053b40d84c25ed7b31d25525bebb39d5e8e29075f49.jpg4deae9648feeda19a2c18728af25041fb89b6ef57b46ffaf1b91bbe79e3ed945.jpg7e676b1f3dd6ba7dc67834be145f0356fb866d0ba67301be3b4289b720890772.jpg29db96e180d47e9c013fa79f6e7b02c8918a4c8b9d94add6189973fb7a3b7388.jpg6071662c5205b9544a13e159d2b860a2c422f74a5a8da5783e4622b7eb579d03.jpg
What Audemar is this?
This watch was sent into AP in Switzerland and had a full service, from what I was told, they weren't sure what the model was? Anyways, I was just curious what this is and if anyone has a rough idea on year. What would be a good price for this also?
Help purchasing my 1st New Rolex
Hi all,I'd like to hear about your experiences buying a new Rolex from an AD. I'm receiving my doctorate in the spring and am very interested in rewarding myself with a classic No-Date Submariner. For example: How do I start the process? What advice do you offer? Should I expect a negotiated price? Is it wise to buy in a different state in an effort to avoid taxes?I live in Wisconsin, with easy access to a local AD, semi-local ADs in Chicago, and wouldn't be against non-local dealings as well. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Polo
