Tough and Transparent: Richard Mille Tourbillon RM 56-02 Sapphire
Richard Mille pioneered the use of an all-sapphire watch case with its RM 056 Sapphire Tourbillon Split Seconds Chronograph in 2011, and upped the technological ante with the subsequent debut of the RM 56-01, which also had baseplates, bridges and a third wheel made of sapphire. Last year saw the debut of another innovation, the Richard Mille Tourbillon RM 56-02 Sapphire, which combines a tripartite sapphire case with the brand’s revolutionary “cabled movement” design. The movement architecture used in the Richard Mille Tourbillon RM 56-02 Sapphire takes its cues from the movement in another Richard Mille watch, the RM 27-01 Rafael Nadal, developed with the input of the Spanish tennis star. The baseplate of the RM 56-02 movement is made of tough but lightweight titanium and suspended within the all-sapphire case by means of a single-braided cable only .35 mm thick. The movement uses a system of four pulleys on posts at its corners and another six pulleys along its peri
Jaeger-LeCoultre to Auction Prototype N1 of the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea to Benefit Marine Site
Jaeger-LeCoultre is auctioning Prototype N1 of the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea LeCoultre Spcial Amrique 1959 commemorative edition watch. The auction provides devotees with the opportunity to acquire an exceptional piece while contributing to the protection of an endangered marine site. Proceeds from the sale will be entirely donated to the Malpelo Flora and Fauna Sanctuary located 500 kilometers off the Colombian coast, in the Pacific Ocean. Inspired by the famous 1959 Geophysic model, developed by Jaeger-LeCoultre at the request of the first scuba diving enthusiasts in the United States, the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea LeCoultre Spcial Amrique 1959 is a contemporary re-edition of this historic timepiece. It was the world's first diver's watch to be equipped with an alarm function specially designed to provide divers with an audible indication warning them it is time to begin a progressive return to the surface. Water-resistant to 10 bar, the Memovox Tribute to Deep Sea LeCo

5524G or 5235G?
well, after a week of ownership i am still not completely convinced of the 5524G and i am thinking of selling it (no issues in finding a buyer). it turns out that i could immediately take home a regulator 5235G (at a good discount, the watch is not going strongly at the moment). what is your take? i like the regulator, came close twice to acquiring it but pulled out at the last moment....is it a piece that could become important for PP collectors in the future? currently there are about 50 watches in chrono24, starting at 38500 USD. how do you see the regulator in the future? collectible maybe? the watch has a great (unique) movement, a nice bauhaus design case and a great dial. still, not much love....i am a bit unsure here...
Is one submersible enough? 243 vs 87
I currently own a PAM0243 sub but I'm head over heels with the blue dial orange patina PAM087. I'm not a huge fan of the luminor case but I've been obsessing with the blue dial for almost three weeks now, pondering if I should own both. I have no inclination whatsoever to part with the 243. Is there anyone on here that owns both?
