It is one of my favorite watches in my collection. I see maybe 1-3 of these watches that show up a year for sale on the regular channels. Buying them in America is more or less impossible, although there is a small handful of authorized dealers. You really can only get them imported via online dealers and even then it is hard to find the watch. 5205r - black or white?
Patek Fans,I have twice within a week gone to Tiffanys in NYC to arm test the 5205 models. They have all four models (rose and white gold). No question for me it will be one of the rose gold models. Both times I have gone in with the black as a clear favorite. It is simply stunning - but the white also pops much more than I expected. Both times I have left with the black as a 51-49% marginal favorite.This will be a very close call. Which one would you pick? Thanks for your input.
