Affordable Vintage: 1969 Bulova Accutron Deep Sea
While Bulova/Accutron made many killer divers in the 1960’s and 1970’s, the dual crown Deep Sea has to be the coolest kid on the block.? Sure, there’s the Bulova Super Compressors, and Accutron made several awesome Deep Sea and Snorkel models, but none are quite as bold as the Deep Sea.This Deep Sea model looks like a Super Compressor with its dual crowns and rotating inner divers bezel, but it is not. The Super Compressors were of course made by EPSA and had a specialized proprietary water sealing design in addition to the iconic inner rotating bezel. Several companies in the 1960’s and 1970’s cashed in on the popularity of this design, and one of them was Accutron, who really did a bang up job.This baby is a big ol’ chunk of solid stainless steel, measuring in at just over 41mm wide by 45mm long, with 20mm lugs. Speedmaster - how common?
I was at a major AD yesterday. The sales guy said that the Speedmaster was selling like crazy and more than SMP, PO and AT. Though nice that people have good taste, I see very few of them in the wild. AT would be the one i see most I think. What is your experience?

Seamaster bezel interchangeability
i apologize is this has been asked before but are the black and orange bezels on the seamaster interchangeable? also if they are how hard is it to buy the one you don't have and change it? thanks

Poll: 5327G v 5320G
Baselworld 2016 v 2017. Magnificent blue = difficult to read but breguet anyday! The 5327 classic with a suit and the 5320 would look as good with jeans. Busy dial versus simplicity....5327 about 5% more but the 5320 has the instantaneous change function which is cool (might even get hacking one day!) I am sure lots of purists comment on ultra thin 240 at 3Hz and the upstart 324 at 4Hz... which do we prefer?

Basel 2018 Timeline Refresher
So Basel starts Thursday 3/22 (although there may be a press day on Wed 3/21 at nights?).That's roughly 34 days from now.With a lot of companies, we will begin to see Pre-Basel introductions of new models.With Rolex, not so much.Maybe a few cryptic teasers.When will the information be available to the public?Will Rolex update its site first on 3/22 or will people who visit Basel have to post on our forum to let us know what models are new (even if they post pics weeks later)?
