904L VS AP Steel
I read that ROO steel is easily scratches in contrast to rolex 904L. Is this the case? Is the ROO a scratch magnet? I would appreciate the clarification because im now dreaming of maybe saving a little more and picking up a panda on those cool SS bracelets. I've been told AP is more fragile in general. 5 year boutique warranties - International?
I was wondering what experiences people around here have had with the 5 year warranties that are offered with boutique purchases. When I bought my 15202 from the HK boutique - I was told that the warranty would be 5 years, but that outside the first 3 year window, it would be necessary to send the watch to the HK boutique for the remainder of the warranty to be honoured. I did not receive a definitive answer as to whether the warranty would be honoured at other service centres around the world in the year 4/5 period.I would appreciate any anecdotes!
Tudor Pepsi GMT - Blue/Red Bezel Combination
Tudor did a great job in combining the BLUE from the BBB bezel and RED from the BBR bezel to make the new GMT Pepsi bezel they just released. It looks great and is perfect for Tudor not only because the color tones are just right with the aluminum bezel but also it actually draws from the Tudors' recent Black Bay history.I am curious if Tudor/Rolex knew they were going to make a Pepsi bezel all along when they initially released the BBR and BBB and planned this for years....OR did some engineer/marketer just wake up last year and said hey let's use the current Black Bay red and blue colors for a new Pepsi GMT....I'm not sure of the lead time to create a new watch, but luck or planning they did good.(i'd still pick Rolex BLRO SS over Tudor GMT but I do appreciate Tudor's execution of the GMT)

The WG GMT appears to have a blue face?
Another 16710 Question
Good morning. I would really appreciate some opinions from you all. I own a GMT 16710 with Pepsi insert. No original papers but I have had it serviced and the RSC warranty card does note it as a BLRO. I have read recently that maybe they were all sold the same' which was new to me. Thing is I absolutely love the watch BUT... since buying a PP 5712 I am thinking of trimming down a little- My sub c now feels big and heavy and barely worn.DJ41 never gets a look in so sellingI really want to keep a black bezel sports Rolex but maybe just one. The 5 digit subs really do sing to me but I hate the clasp, much prefer the GMT clasp. The question is, do I sell up and keep my GMT but get a black bezel insert instead? I know prices have gone through the roof so I am wondering if it worth trying to find a black or just change mine as I am not as in love with the blue/red as I was. Or get a 5 digit sub and swap the bracelet. I think I want the aim to be 2 watches you see. The Nautilus and a play Ro
