Watches NEWS
Housed in the new Glashutte Original Senator Automatic watch is a silver dial
Housed in the new Glashutte Original Senator Automatic watch is a silver dial, encircled by a fine black "railroad track" minute track. It coordinates perfectly with black Roman numerals. Pointing to hours and minutes are pear-shaped, blued steel hands. In charge of seconds is a blued steel seconds hand, fitted with a double-G counterweight.
SevenFriday P1 Review
It has been a while since a watch has crossed our paths that has been utterly unique, with a design vocabulary all of its own. Often, the watches we look at are derived from historical designs, namely of military origin. Sometimes the watches refer more to classic watch making, and sometimes they simply refer to other iconic watches whose values greatly exceed that which is normally obtainable. Well, in the case of the new SevenFriday P1, no such immediate references can be made. The P1 was designed from the ground up with a unique vision and a remarkable attention to detail. Inspired by machinery, architecture and a general industrial aesthetic, the P1 is not quite like anything we've seen before. At $891?~$1,100, the P1 isn't an impulse buy, but I do believe it is a good value for what you are receiving. 44mm Anthracite Dial & 41mm RoRG
A short visit to BKK AP boutique today. The new 44mm Anthracite dial surprisingly looks even sportier than its ceramic counterpart, while the weight feels just right. While I gotta admit that I fell for the weight and feel of the 41mmRoRG more than my Jumbo, the latter still transcend in the department of the overall design balance and elegance. Thanks for looking and have a good weekend!

Questions for Speedmaster Racing owners
Hi all,I've been thinking a lot about a new Speedmaster Racing recently - just waiting for the Omega boutique to get the one that I am interested in (grey dial, yellow highlights) in stock so I can see it in person before committing. The staff in the boutique have been stressing the quality of the newer movement in the Speedmaster Racing series, citing the longer manufacturer's warranty as an example of its robustness. That's all very well and good, but to be honest I expect any watch I'm buying new to be solid - and whether a 3 or 5 year warranty is offered doesn't really have much sway with me.What I would really like is to hear from some of you that already own one of these - how have you found it? The watch seemed thicker than I expected when I held it (thicker than any other speedy from the look of it), but on the wrist I didn't really notice it. Have you found that you accidentally hit the watch on things? Is it annoying sitting at desks? I'd love to know a bit more about these da
