Rolex SkyD or AP ROC 26331?
I posted this in the Rolex forum, but wanted to get input from the AP forum as well.I've been on the list for 8 months at my AD for the SS Skydweller in the blue dial. #2 on the list from day one. Talked to the AD yesterday. They haven't even received the first one. No idea how long before I get mine.I'm getting impatient. It's not like I'm trying to order a Porsche GT car or a Ferrari 488 right? I know I know. Some folks are on waiting lists that span multiple years for Daytona C's and certain PP Nautilus models. Just not my thing though. I was sold on the Rolex ,but I got to try on the SS ROC in the blue dial. It's an amazing piece. Now I'm starting to think I should just forget about the SkyD and add the ROC to my collection instead? What do you think?
omega nato
Instead of replacing the worn out black leather strap decided to change it up some. I'm liking the look.
Does Omega have a better clasp?
ALCON,I bought this Omega 20mm SS mesh bracelet for my Rolex Sea Dweller.I'm happy with the bracelet, but not the clasp.Does Omage produce a better clasp that will fit on this bracelet?V/R,Mike
Just one more?
Greeting fellow enablers. Been a member for about a year and have truly enjoyed the camaraderie and the wealth of knowledge that has helped guide me. Recently was gifted a DJ II I have been after for a few years and was pleasantly surprised by my wife with that very model for our 24th anniversary. It's stunning and everything I thought it would be for my first Rolex.I have some very capable ponies in the stable in the form of a Ball NEDU, Ball 60 Seconds II, and a lovely Ball Marvelight. The new Datejust fits right in the rotation nicely but I find myself cautious about its durability, probably because it's just so gorgeous! My Ball NEDU gets the most wrist time as my daily driver. No worries about it's ability to stand up to my day to day activities. My question is this, any issues with maybe adding a SubC Date to round out the stable? Durable? Check. Iconic? Check. Fits my wrist and looks great? Check. Not really looking to have a world class collection, just trying to get to a 4-5 wat
Hong Kong is "Rolex Paradise"
I have been to a lot a places on the face of this earth. But Hong Kong takes top spot for ROLEX, there are so many AD's, sometimes two across the road from each other so you don't have to cross the street!(Not to mention the Casinos in Macau each casino has multiple AD's)I have been in heaven for 10 days, every 8th - 9th person wears ROLEX!It's a luxury to them and they want it, because they can't afford to own housing or cars!AD's have no S/S stock, only grey markets flourish!Following Pix are from one dealer, one of many shops, offering what you wish!!Prices are high, and AD's are offering generous payment plans, on credit!NO REPLICA'S AROUND HERE! (they are dealt like drugs under the counter)
