Watches NEWS
Incoming....its gold...its big...its mine!!!
First and foremost, I wanted to thank everyone for providing their views and suggestions when I was debating which watch to get...whether it was the RG Schumi / RB2 , the Ti RB2, or Ti RM11...what it really came down to is minimizing cash flow at this time given I've added a couple of other big pieces to the collection the last couple of months.I was walking around the mall today with the kids. Told my wife i was going to visit the RM boutique for a few minutes. Stopped by the AP boutique on the way...and there she was in the display window...the 44mm RG ROO Ceramic.I've always thought this was the perfect / reasonable upgrade for my RGRC.Tried it all, discussed approximate discounts, and told them to hold it for a few hours while I ran a few errands (take my RGRC to the second hand shops to sell).Got quite a decent price for the RGRC and got a great discount on the retail on this piece...too good of a deal to pass up. So here she is!!!Just a quick wrist shot...will post better photos
My next watch will be a PO... but I have a question...
Everywhere I read, everyone says I should get the PO on a bracelet. Well, fantastic. I will. If only because I know that buying the bracelet separately doesn't make much financial sense. However... if I do buy it on a bracelet... how much can I expect to spend on an original rubber strap? And where would I be able to get it?Thanks.
Finishing the year w/ a new Patek.....
I have admired the 5098 since it's release in 2009, and the opportunity to buy one surfaced last week, so an early Christmas present for me...
Which rubber band for my sub? RubberB or everest
Hi peeps I am keen in a rubber band tang version for my rolex submariner ceramic nd. Which one would fit me better? Here is a side view of my sub on bracelet which fit nicely for meATTACH]932318[/ATTACH]
For years now, Ive been reading U.K. shortages...
It never made sense to me. Rolex wants to sell watches. When China was on fire with sales, China had tons of watches for sale. Often the lowest price in the world when factoring in currency conversions to CHF. I've been reading for many years about constant short supply in U.K. Makes me wonder if this is a game all the dealers do in the U.K. to drive up hype and demand. I mean it would greatly be in Rolex's favor to sell as many watches as possible. I know the Brexit currency crash has had something to do with recent times but even when the pound was high, Rolex's at ADs was low. What is your theory/thoughts?
