Thomas Prescher Tourbillon Trilogy Watches Are The Most Elegant And Refined Tourbillon Watches I've Ever Known
Thomas Prescher is another one of those lucky watch making prodigies. The type of person who just innately understands how to design, make, and improve watches. The young watch maker began the brand in about 2002 after working at a few of the top watch manufactures. This is the typical path for gifted watch makers. Owning their own brand is a lot of work, and a great wrist, but if you have proven yourself, the financial backing will always be there. Especially when you can clients pre-order watches that are yet to be made.Thomas Prescher has a small, yet very interesting line of watches, and I would like to focus on the Tourbillon Trilogy collection in this article. The Trilogy collection has three different types of tourbillon movements, even though they look similar. The visual differences are remarked in the watch cases, which are a square, cushion, and round shape. The square watch holds a single tourbillon. Meaning it travels along one axis. Then a double tourbillon for cushion ca
Specs of luxurious A. Lange Sohne Lange 1 goes Grand
The watch movement is the A.Lange L901.2, which is slightly modified the L901.0 in original 1 Lange, what it it is, I don't know, but enough to justify a decimal, It is wrapped with a hearty 3 days or 72 hours power reserve C 53 jewels and adjusted for 5 positions manually. The case is white or pink gold and platinum. Watch complications include an indication of the power reserve, date display big and seconds sub. time off and hands like minute
Continue waiting for 15202 or look for 15450 blue dial?
Hi all,Did anyone have recent luck with purchasing 15202 through an AD in the US? You can PM me if you want. I have been number 1 on my AD's waitlist since Jan 2017 but haven't received that watch as yet. My AD mentioned last year that he will continue to get at least 1 15202 in a year from the leftover allocation of the boutiques. He used to receive more 15202s before it became boutique exclusive. However, now he is not sure when and if he will get a 15202 this year. What should I do? Should I continue waiting for the 15202 or start looking for a 15450 blue dial? As background, I had a 15450 silver dial which I sold last year in order to upgrade to 15202. The 15450 wore slightly small on my 6.4~ flat wrist, more like a 38-39 mm size dress watch than a sports watch. I have tried the gold 15202 few times and it wears fine. In an ideal scenario, 15202 will be my first choice but now I am not sure if I can get it from my AD.I understand that 15450 blue dial is also boutique exclusive but i
Ap nyc
Hello guys; What sort of discount is considered fair at AP NYC for a 15400 in blue? I've read as high as 20%, but that seems high. I've never purchased an AP before, only Rolex/PP/VC and I usually achieve ~10% off from AD.Cheers!
Pay over MSRP for a SS Rolex or put it towards a used Ferrari?
Just a warning...this is MORE whining and complaining. The state of affairs makes me honestly sad...and I deal with sick and dying patients almost every day.I really wanted to commemorate finishing med school, finishing residency, finishing fellowship, and treat myself nice after all the stress I go through on a daily basis....but now I can't even get a new 116610LV which has been out for years unless I pay a grey market dealer $2,500 over MSRP. No one even has a 116610LN sitting around any more. Its worse for ceramic daytonas.Been on wait lists since last year...One local dealer here in Texas told me he had 20 on his list.Well, either the market will settle down, or the MSRP will go up and desirable SS sports models in the professional line will continue have scarce availability further exploding demand and price...Maybe the time to buy used is now before it gets worse? I realize owning a new pepsi or STILL waiting on a daytona or hulk will unlikely bring me a watch or any joy in
