Ressence ZeroSeries
Established in 2009 and conceived by Belgian industrial designer Beno?t Mintiens, Ressence lives by the credo “less is more”, and the brand’s name is a contraction of “Renaissance of the Essentials”. Its unique time display might be described as circles turning within circles. Use the video link inside, because words and still images alone cannot convey the eyecatching functionality. Find prices inside as well. Unlike many brands that add depth and layers to their dials, Ressence displays time on a flush-mounted revolving dial that places all graphical elements in one plane. The mechanical display system features a revolving module driven by a Swiss automatic caliber ETA 2824-A2. The ETA movement is used because it can generate the force needed to move the multiple disks, which weigh considerably more than standard hands. (Ulysse Nardin similarly selected ETA movements to power their famous Trilogy of Time pieces, the Astrolabium, Tellurium and Planetarium

Waiting on my 5980
I have always wanted a Patek 5980ss and I pulled the trigger on a blue dial 6 months old mint and complete. Was shipped FedEx yesterday from Los Angeles overnight priority and its sitting in Memphis since 1am this morning at FedEx hub. Looks like I will have to wait another couple days Very frustrated. One would think that after 27 years in jewelry business I would have learned to have more patience as these things happen every now and then but NOT when its for a Grail timepiece LOL
Sell the 16600 for the BLNR?
Hey guys.So the BLNR is my absolute grail watch. I currently own the 16600 SD and 16570 EXP II (which I will most likely never sell because it's my birth year). I have been thinking of trading the 16600 up to the BLNR, or selling it cash and buying a BLNR.I know the saying is don't flip just add in this forum. But currently I do not have the means to add, and I don't know if I will have the means to add a third Rolex in the foreseeable future. (I'm not in need of $. My savings must go toward other investments and I prefer a 2 watch collection)Pros about the SD that make me want to keep it:-When it was in production, it was rarely sold over the sub which in my eyes gives it more character it more valuable in the future (just my opinion)- M serial which means as far as I know it was produced in the final year of pre ceramic.- potential collector piece? (Just a hunch, not a fact)Pros about the BLNR:- it's my favourite attainable Rolex lolWhat would you do?Sent from my iPhone using Tapat
