Ulysse Nardin El Toro Watch
Struck by the Moonstruck? Ulysse Nardin Moonstruck watch that is. I don't even know if I have published my article on the Moonstruck watch yet. I am shamelessly behind on publishing articles. I will get to the Moonstruck watch soon even though that is a model from last year. The El Toro is sort of a follow up model. It uses the same case and dimensions. Though the dial and complications are all different. Ulysse Nardin has created a pretty cool luxury watch here. It feels modern by not too strange. Very characteristic of the brand, though still novel. The El Toro watch features a GMT hand as well as a perpetual calendar - with w two digit year indicator. Comes in an gold or platinum case. For more information, prices, and my assessment of this piece, read my full article about the Ulysse Nardin El Toro watch at Haute Living here. Arrival!
The other day I asked for some opinions on whether I should let 2 Rolexes go and pick up my first AP. I had already made my mind up bur just needed some reassurance from you enablers out there that I wouldn't regret my decision. Just picked this up from FedEx a little while ago. I must be having some beginner's AP luck too since I was able to track down the much sought after bracelet over the weekend.
90s Breitling model question?

Neil Peart (Rush Musician) Good Samaritan Patek Story
I do not own a Patek, but would love to one day. I wondered if people herein cared about this heartwarming story... Neil had a bag fall off a bike years ago, guy left him a voicemail saying he found it roadside.. Neil erased the message accidentally.. years went by.. the guy's wife called again, but this time called a guy in neil's address book (recovered).. and that guy called Neil..I think the piece is a Patek Callatrava, gorgeous watch, pictured in the article. .neilpeart.net/index.php/s...acle-colorado/Miracle in Colorado
Has anyone else done a 180 on the Cellini Moonphase (from not to liking it)?
When it first came out, I thought the Moonphase complication, which has always fascinated me (I bought a Seiko Moonphase in the late 80s. It set me back over $200, which was an absolute fortune to me at the time. I still have it) but I thought the Rolex iteration was odd and difficult to read.I searched for guides on how to read it (I had a mental block because it seems so simple now) and finally found what I was looking for...on Rolex the damned user guide they offer as a PDF download! I now absolutely love the watch. I've moved on to appreciating the luxe' design of the hands, for example (I have Rolex sports models, the BLNR and two YMs, one almost 20 years old, the other almost new). Was curious is anyone else had gained appreciation for this stunning watch. I now find the Moonphase complication to be inspired, and beautiful.Pictures are from RolexSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
