Speedmaster specks on sub dials
Hi all,New to the Rolex Forums, and hoping that someone could provide some insight. I'm looking into buying a Speedy ref: 3520.53 (my first non-Rolex purchase), and this one basically fits the bill (.bernardwatch/item/OMG2370). Anyone have any idea what's up with the white specks on the sub dials? I'm OK with a watch that has some character, but not one that has a sketchy past, or possibly sketchy future. My apologies if there is a thread on this somewhere; my search didn't yield anything useful. -CSM
Are any Pateks discounted these days ?
Hi- I usually hate to ask these types of $ questions , however ...I am potentially interested in the now-discontinued 5205g .... as I am usually a sports watch guy (esp Rolex) and only just got into PP (5167a recent acquisition), I am used to you are fortunate if you get to pay MSRP . My question is, are PP ACs being discounted in the US? the 5205g in particular? If so, what should I shoot for? I have a strong relationship w my AD. Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5167A - insane or not?
Hello!I can't figure out whether I'm insane or not, and this forum might not be the right place to ask, but here I am :-)I'm by no means a watch enthusiast - I have had fairly basic things over the years, nothing special (popular Tag Heuer models). For a very long time I have admired the Aquanaut and thought about getting one when I could afford it - i.e. in many years from now! However, due to some potentially serious illness which I have recently recovered from, I will now receive a substantial amount from my health insurance. Luckily I'm not in need of the money. Therefore I want to buy a daily reminder of how lucky I am. It could be the Aquanaut, and I'm very tempted, but I'm a little afraid I might regret it.The upsides is the design which I absolutely love, the comfort, it's discrete appearance (which is important in Denmark) etc. However - I intend to use it as my daily watch for many years to come and with my fairly active professional life (retail, product development, visiting
