In October of 2014, Patek Philippe presented a collection of pieces that the world had been waiting 25 years to see. It was Patek who in 1989 launched the very concept of commemorative watches with its 150th anniversary collection and who today still garners more attention than anyone else in the world of haute horlogerie. We have already shown you the basics of what comprises the Patek 175 collection (see here, here, here, and here) but today we will go hands-on with all the pieces, as well as break down a bit more about what this collection may or may not mean long-term. Firstly if anyone gets the chance to visit this event at the Saatchi gallery London go for it. I've just returned from spending a Couple of days in the capital and visited the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday. Amazing exhibition and top marks to Patek. Guys,I was wondering about 5131r comparing to other discountinued references in regards to second market prices which j and g were achieving? Would you think that r will hold that trend? I could not found any around for sale as it is a fresh reference which seems to be very rare, just asking from curiosity about your point of view from exclusivity angle side of it.I know there are certainly people on this forum who came across (or perhaps own) the R, I would love to know which pm version they prefer

With a steel sub as the only other piece in your collection which would you opt for? Or is the answer simply to wait for a possible in-house movement in 2018 for the AP or a ceramic bezel on the Daytona? This is not a personal dilemma I am just curious what everyone would go for :).
