Corum Admirals Cup Challenger 44 Chrono Rubber
Corum fuses vulcanized rubber to the Admiral's Cup Challenger 44’s steel case to add color and to create a non-slip surface that is highly useful in wet environments. The rubber case and matching straps have a matte finish and a velvet-like feel. The case maintains the distinctive twelve-sided shape and the inner bezel ring adorned with nautical pennants that are Admiral’s Cup trademarks. Find pricing and wallpaper inside. The Challenger 44 Chrono Rubber is powered by a COSC-chronometer-certified automatic movement visible through a transparent caseback and sports a Corum-engraved rotor that matches the color of the watch. The center chronograph seconds hand bears the Corum key counterweight. The angled date display is positioned at 4:30. The three subdials present the 30 minute totalizer at 3 o’clock, 12 hour totalizer at 6 o’clock, and continuous seconds at 9 o’clock. Hands, minute numerals, subdials and chevrons are highlighted by luminescent white, gra
Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster Orbital Watch
"The Amortiser" sounds like a banking industry themed super villain. But here it is a cool piece of functionality that you won't find on other watches in this price range. New from Ball watches is the Engineer Hydrocarbon Spacemaster Orbital watch, a mouthful of a name, but suitable for a chunky timepiece with this much functionality. I got my hands on this watch, which should be available close to the time you read this.Ball fitted the Spacemaster Orbital (what I will call it for short) with ETA's newer Valjoux 7754. Newer, as in released in 2003 (or so), which is fresh from the egg compared to some other movements we know and love that have been used since the 1970s. The 7754 automatic is based on the famed 7750, but adds a GMT complication to the mix. Even so, it still has a power reserve of about 46 hours. Not sure why we don't see these used in more watches - perhaps they are very expensive or hard to get from ETA.The watch is big at 45mm wide, but in titanium so it doesn't feel t
Ask: Can't set the date when both hands are up, is it normal?
Hi, I can't seem to move the date wheel when both the hour and minute hands are pointing upwards, for example 12. I had to move the hour and minute hands to point down at about 4 to 8 first before I can adjust the date wheel. Is it normal? I can adjust the date anytime with my rolex with the hour and minute hand anywhere.Any advice is very much appreciated. Thanks!
A Patek goes nicely with a Patek
Wearing the Patek 5140p today with a nice Patek tie received from an AD. Does anyone know who makes Patek ties? Is it Hermes?
Is one submersible enough? 243 vs 87
I currently own a PAM0243 sub but I'm head over heels with the blue dial orange patina PAM087. I'm not a huge fan of the luminor case but I've been obsessing with the blue dial for almost three weeks now, pondering if I should own both. I have no inclination whatsoever to part with the 243. Is there anyone on here that owns both?
