Incoming Concept
As some may remember, I added a laptimer last October. I loved the watch, but it wore too big and was not even close to the comfort of my RM pieces. I traded the laptimer pretty quickly, and felt it was the best decision. I still missed the concept line though. Originally I wanted the GMT concept, but had been talked into the laptimer. I finally had the chance to right this wrong decision. It is also my first tourb ever, which for me I feel is a huge step!I am happy to say I added one of the last AP GMT Tourb Black pieces. It has now been discontinued and I just got the last J serial from my AD. Very excited about it and it overshadows my new RM incoming.
Diver short band
How much shorter is the short Diver band, compared to the regular? I'm on the last hole of the standard band, and its snug. The second to last it too loose. Anyone on the smaller wrist size (~6.5) make the switch? TIA...
Long time Rolex Loyalist gets first Breitling!
Still love Rolex, but thought I would try some variety! Got this beauty from the MAN DavidSW. I'm loving it. Fit and finish is fantastic, this is going into my regular rotation. I'm a complete Breitling noob. Are the chronographs supposed to be moving all the time?
Patek Shopping in London...Recommendations
Hello all,I've just arrived in London and will be here for the next 10 days. I am planning to do some watch shopping over the weekend and have some questions for the UK guys on the forum:1. I've had recommendations to go to New/Old Bond Street - are there any recommendations beyond this street?2. As a non-resident of the UK, do AD's here rebate instantly or are there limitations to a VAT refund for luxury items?3.
