Finally own an AP!!!
After searching high and low and trying out as many AP as i can, i finally pulled the trigger on an AP ROO RGRC. DavidSW is the man! He answered my many questions and work with me to get one of my grail watch. I have a small 6.2 wrist so many AP models i could not wear. But after trying the RGRC, i don't care anymore because it's such a badass watch! Here it is guys...a shot on my small wrist...not bad at all
Breitling Navitimer / Rolex Submariner
A quick question for my fellow TRF'ers...A friend of mine has been bitten by watch fever after seeing and trying on my GMT-II and is looking at picking up a Breitling. He likes the larger case size, face color and recognizable Breitling dial. When he mentioned Breitling I immediately thought of one watch only, and that was the Navitimer, blue face. I then made a comment to him that the Navitimer was basically the Submariner of Breitling meaning that it was the one watch that in my opinion captured the spirit, history and essence of Breitling, the same way that I feel the Sub is the quintessencial Rolex. What do you all think? Is that consistent with what you think or am I WAY off base? Whenever I think Breitling, Navitimer just pops into my head. I'm anxious to hear what you have to say. Omega Geneve Dynamic
HelloAfter getting some great advice and guidance on my Milsub 5513 on the Rolex Vintage forum I thought I'd nip over here regarding my Omega Geneve Dynamic.As with the 5513, the Omega belonged to my old man and it was passed to me when he died in 2008.We think it was purchased for his 30th birthday which would mean it was bought in 1976. As there's no day/date function I presume it's either the 1967-1974 model (165.0039) or the 1968-1971 (ST 135.0033). Other than that I can't find out much more and still haven't found any photos that match my example.Photos below, so as with the Milsub, any advice gratefully recieved!RegardsH
