Welcoming New aBlogtoRead.com Female Watch Blogger Molly McDermott
You no doubt have been reading a few articles on here about female watches and thought to yourselves that the tone doesn't quite sound like me. Hopefully at that point you noticed that the author of the blog article was not me, but rather the newest addition to aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer; who will regularly be commenting on the watch world in addition to myself. So please welcome Molly McDermott, who is here to bring a different perspective to watch appreciation.Molly is a veteran of the watch industry? - an experience that gives her a special insight and perspective on how to view and discuss the nicer things in life (that you can buy). Starting with bridal wear and the jewelry, she ended up working with luxury watches, until recently - but the passion and interest remains. It doesn't hurt that she is quite opinionated and energetic as well. You can be sure that she'll be honest with her thoughts but come at concepts with a tasteful and discerning eye. I don't know what it is about audemars, just got that 233 and I wore it today but was constantly thinking about my rubberclad. I think I need more audemars in my collection. Sorry abou the magnifying glass was inspecting my watches. A little OCD.
AP Number 2 and 3!!!!
So I recently caught the bug really, really hard. After getting a Panda a few weeks ago, I completed the trifecta this week. I had a new AP ROC for a few weeks with a silver dial, but it didn't sing to me. I really liked the simplicity of the 15400 and the black dial, so I got myself one of these beautiesThen one of my all-time faves came up for sale (I am really a diving watch freak) in great shape at a price I could not resist soI am so pumped to have this trio in my stable. They all do it for me in their own way. All three are impeccably finished like only AP can do, but they are all different. The 15400 has an elegance, the perfect sports watch for a suit. The diver is a great weekend watch, but can also be dressed up because of the black dial. Lastly, the Panda is like nothing else that I have with a white dial with black and red accents. The question now is, when will I have time to wear them all along with the others I had in the stable before the APs. I guess one of the better
A solid block of carbon fibre
AP does make some innovative watches. This case is at the forefront of case technology.Somehow, I don't think we can expect something like this from Rolex for at least 100 years.
Which to buy? Vintage Rolex or 5712a
Hi forum,I recently purchased a vintage 1963 Rolex GMT Gilt Underline (link below) that is still in the no questions asked inspection period. The problem is I just received a call from a trusted seller for a BNIB 5712a. The problem is my fiance will only let me get one watch as a wedding present (understandable )Which should I go with? Prices are equivalent. https://.hqmilton/timepieces/...line-dial-8975
