leave iit or fix it?
bought a Breit Chono Cockpit (2nd hand) a few months ago for $1300.A few weeks ago it stopped for unknown reason (no drop or anything) 3rd repair shop finally found the problem, and its thrashed.$700 or so to fix it...Should I write it off or get it fixed? Bear in mind I will have to pay out the $700 in installments because I do NOT have that laying around....
New 5712r and already a scratch
Well, I just received my 5712r on 12/24 and I already have the first scratch! Oh well, part of ownership I guess. George did send a Patek Collection Book with it! Makes you appreciate ceramic bezels though.
Just joined the club (5167A-001)
This is my first post but I've been somewhat regular visitor for past couple of months, first as a guest and then registered couple of weeks ago.Anyhow. I got very much waited packet today and now I can say I've joined PP owners club. I don't bother you with multiple pics due not having decent camera nor photography skill. There are also already lots of good Aquanaut pics in this site from others but I still will put this one pic out just because in real life I know nobody who can enjoy and appreciate this kind of watch to the level it deserves. Papers or No papers how important
So. Thinking of buying my second Rolex. This is a shop and the watch looks very good.Only issue is the original paper certificate is missing.How important is the original certificate to you. Its a good deal probably 700 less than with papers.Would you buy one and be happy.?
Oscillating Weight issue for Daytona
HiI have a Rolex Daytona that has a damaged oscillating wheel, I wanted to find out that if I take it into a Rolex AD will they just replace the oscillating weight or will they make me get the full service? Just want to know what I'm getting into before I get into it :). Any help is much appreciated!Thanks
