Rubber strap - AP vs AP Bands?
I want to buy a rubber strap for my 42mm ROC. I have worn the genuine AP rubber strap on my Rubberclad but would like to hear from people that have tried the AP Bands version. Is it inferior or essentially the same? Comfort is my main priority.
What does H and N mean at the back of watch?
Hi All,there are 2 sets of numbers at the back of AP watches: NXXX and HXXX.may i know what do they stand for? N for Movement number and H for case number? Thanks in advanceCheers
planet ocean chrono liquid metal
Helo guys, Im newbie about Omega here and need your help to answer my questions.Today I tried this seamaster planet ocean chrono in titanium liquid metal, first impression this watch is really huge, but regardless the size i feel in love with it, it wears really light and comfortable. The weight and the Deep blue color is really nice. I ask the price, it was 9600 CHF, which is expensive. My questions are:1. Is this model is one of the favourite model??2. I asked the lady and she said the bezel is made from liquid metal, which one is better liquid metal or ceramic??3. How about the resale value of this watch??
In praise of the Aquanaut, a review
Hi all,Recently I've been seeing a renewed interest in the Aquanaut so I thought I would post a quick review.I've worn my 5165 on a tropical strap nearly every day at the office for more than three years. During that time it has accumulated the expected scuffs, swirls and minor scratches, particularly on the bezel and clasp. Nothing I can't live with and none that distract from the overall good looks of this reference. The case is a well thought-out design with crown protectors and graceful lugs. It has just the right amount of contrast between polished and brushed surfaces.Because the watch is on the tropical strap it is supremely light. Some might consider its lightweight and thinness as a drawback, but for me it is perfect. The tropical strap merges seamlessly into the case making it look unique to most other watches. Whatever material it is made from, some type of rubber I suspect, it is suitable for all types of weather. If you sweat a lot in the summer this strap is fantastic. Af
D-Blue available at my AD
Should I pick it up? I know it's a bit big, but these things are pretty rare and hard to get from ADs it seems these days.Price would be $14,200 CAD all-in, or about $11,200 USD. Seems like a no-lose proposition!
