I would first like to thank all of the AP enablers (Thomas, Dalip, Mike, Adam, Dan and the list goes on) for helping me decide to part with my funds for my first AP (all of your pics were killing me). Of course as always, I went to my local AD' (DavidSW) to find my new AP. Having owned Rolex for 20 years (lost count of how many have flipped, kept...well you know), last few years I really embraced Panerai (which I love), but something was always missing. I wanted to add something new to the collection, but wasn't sure just what. As usual, headed to TRF and let the madness begin on convincing myself on what I wanted . First Rolex - Date model champaign dial with white font - is that unusual?
Hello!I'm new to all of this. I got what I believe to be a reasonable deal on my first Rolex. It's a Date model from the early 80's. As I've looked around at pictures of other similar models after I've purchased it from a reputable jeweler, I've noticed I haven't seen any other champaign color dials with white print. Sorry about the photo quality. Should I be concerned? Thanks!
