Battery for Breitling 2007 Aerospace Avantage
Looking to buy a battery for my 2007 Aerospace Avantage. Brought it into Birks in Toronto, Canada to get this done and after 2 weeks of them sending it to Breitling they were quoting me over $800 for an overhaul and would not just change the battery which they originally quoted me $150. Apparently Breitling will not change the battery on my watch due to it's age. I got the watch back as I was not going to spend $800 on it....i'd like to buy a replacement battery myself and try to change it myself.Any suggestion where I can source a battery? tried searching on the internet and was not able to find any....in the mean time I'll wear one of my panerai's but the Breitling was my Daily watch....
which rolex for my first and probably only
I have been looking at a few watches from a couple of different stores one of which only had used and the other had new. the first one i tried on was a DJ 41 model 126334 with the white gold fluted bezel and diamond hour marks with the rhodium dial and jubilee bracelet. the one store gave me a book for the 2017 - 2018 season and looking through the entire book these are the ones i also liked and of course different price ranges. I am not wanting to pay more than 11K for a NIB. I will have to save my money since i don't have these kinds of funds currently. I will wear what ever watch i get for special occasions and everyday wear. Here are the ones i also like #1 Mentioned above#2 DJ 41 same as above but w/o diamonds#3 DJ 41 model 126300 #4 Sub Mariner 40MM model 116610LN #5 GMT Master 11 40MM model# 116710 BLNR like the looks of the black / blue bezel but really love the black / red bezel just not sure if i can get that bezel without going with the 116719 BLRO model and since that wat
John Mayer BLRO
Dead and Co rocked the Boston Garden Sunday night. John Mayer sported the BLRO and delivered big time! Fun to watch him. He does wear it a bit loose. Something about the wrist expanding while playing guitar. It was no problem to slide it off his wrist. Here's a quick pic. Now I have to find him again.
Can't Decide??
I am torn. I am looking at getting my second Rolex and I can not decide between a Rolex Submariner Date and No Date. I keep getting drawn to the no date because it seems less common but wonder if I will get annoyed having to pull my phone out to check the date ( I sign a lot of documents). I keep heading into my local AD and they do not have either one in stock which make the decision harder as I have not been able to try one on. Thanks for everyones thoughts.
