Seiko 5 SNZG Review
It's been some time since we reviewed a Seiko on worn&wound, which is a shame because Seiko is one of our favorite brands. As long time readers may recall, we've reviewed a number of Seiko's including two from their Seiko 5 line, the SNK military field watch and SNZH diver, both of which have quite a following from the watch nerd community. Seiko 5s are known for being sturdy, affordable mechanical watches that come in a variety of flavors, and today we're going to take a look at the SNZG, a mid-sized military field watch that retails for $100 to $115 depending on strap choice.Case: Stainless steelMovement: Seiko 7S26C 23 Jewel Automatic with Day/dateDial: BlackLens: HardlexCase Back: Display BackStrap: Stainless steelWater Res.: 10atm (100m/300f)Diameter: 42mmThickness: 12mmLug Width: 22mmWarranty: Two-yearThe Seiko 5 line of watches is vast, including watches from a number of genres (dive, dress, military) with varying dial colors, case finishes and strap choices for each model.

Pateks 2nd hand above retail
So it seems the message boards are active with all the talk about upcoming 5711/12 steel price increases and concern whether it is selective or will be across the board on all Nautilus or all sport or all steel or all men's, etc etc models. It would seem to me that if the goal were to diminish the 2nd hand/grey market-reseller position, then PP price increases would be selective to those models that resell for a premium greater than retail price. This isnt a perfect science however as the 5712/1A tends to sell slightly below retail and it appears to be subject to the price increase. We all know about 5711 being the prototypical example selling for 40-60% premium above retail. BUT, what are the other models in similar situations and what percent above retail do they resell for?
Pam00390?
it's been almost 5 years since I've sold my last Panerai. I'm thinking about making the move back to get a near daily Panerai...I have to say I miss the straps, miss the community and miss the design...Panerai makes me nostalgic as it was the community of Panerai that made me fall in love with watches Anywho, any guys on here still wearing their 390 from 2011?? This is the one I think I will get..I love the versatility I can have with straps and the tobacco dial with that gorgeous lume...Pics are welcome
