Omega 2200.50.00 Won't Wind Manually
This watch is about 6 years old. After not wearing it for a few days, it was of course dead. I have tried to manually wind and don't get any results. I'm pretty sure I'm winding it correctly and hear a slight whirring sound when doing so. If I shake it around for a while it starts to tick, but doesn't last very long. Apologies for my lack of knowledge. Any ideas? Thanks if advance.

At that point I thought it would be the last watch I would wear until I retire and buy a Day-Date- because of course that is the watch you get when you retire. (this pic is on the wrist of my son who I gave it to for reasons that will become evident below.) This was my daily until t
