When will we find out about what AP will be launching in 2015?
Aquaterra 38.5mm
Hi,I'm new to the forum, and I'm currently looking at an omega Aqua Terra 38.5mm in white dial. The version I am looking to get is the 8500 calibre one.If anyone has a picture of this watch that they are willing to share, please post them! Also, I wanted to hear some opinions on the watch from actual owners, both goods and bads. Thanks!
Thoughts on the 5711 vs the 5712
It's been only a few days, but here are some initial thoughts on my new 5711/1a versus the 5712/1a, which I used to own. First, IMHO, it is a WIN either way. Wrist presence:Both have great wrist presence despite their thin case. Dial:I think the 5711 feels more grand because there is more uninterrupted space on the magical blue dial. I think the 5712/1a dial is more interesting with the complications and the asymmetry (which I know some do not like, but I certainly did and still do). I also like the hints of red on the 5712/1a dial. WR:With the higher WR on the 5711, I feel a little more secure, but this largely is irrelevant since I probably won't use this in a pool/ocean anyway - but it's nice to know I can if needed. The backside:I love the 240 movement and the micro rotor. From an aesthetic standpoint, I think the 5712 wins here, but the 324 is no slouch and is also easy on the eyes. And, I feel good with the 324 on this since I have a 240 movement in another watch, so a little div
At last... 5167 owner
I've been trolling the forums for awhile now, first on the Rolex side then finally Patek. The 5167a had me at hello and is my first PP. Thanks Kilyung for answering all of my noob questions and for all of the other enablers in this group.Looking forward to the next acquisition :)ImageUploadedByTapatalk1395372243.742084.jpg
233 straps
Who do you guys recommend for straps? I had a couple made from the Strap Smith a few years back but I find they are thicker than I like to wear. I have larger wrist and although the XL OEM straps fit they seem just a bit lopsided and are hard to come by. I've seen straps from Dangerous9straps and they look like good work but after a few emails trying to place an order he just stopped writing. I would rather someone point me in the right direction than to keep trying at a few hundred a pop. Thanks
