Affordable Vintage: 1970's Longines Chronograph Diver
What if I told you that you could get an over-sized colorful chronograph from a celebrated marque with a legendary movement and a super compressor case for under $3k. Impossible? Not with Longines’ chronograph diver.Introduced in 1969 and produced in the 70’s, this was Longines’ top sport watch. It was available in three different configurations. Black dial with white subdials at 3 and 9 and a black subdial at 6, This variant is the first execution and comes with a rotating countdown bezel. They also made it with three white subdials on a black dial with a rotating inner bezel and a fixed bezel with a tachymeter scale for water skiing. Water skiing, you say? Rolex watches - removed from circulation
As time progresses and Rolex continues to crank out more watches, how many or how often do you think any of them get removed from circulation? As a prestigious brand so widely known throughout the world, it is no coincidence they are highly regarded, well kept, stored in safe places, and not too often disposed of..... Blue ceramic bezel: BLNR vs BLRO

Incoming (Lucky and Unexpected)!!!!
A period of flipping a couple of watches finally comes to an end!!! After making calls to several AD's within about a 300 mile radius, my last call was to a somewhat local AD (60 miles away) and yes...... they had a SD43 in the case that was unspoken for!!! Amazing watch that checks all of the boxes. I am very lucky to get my hands on this one because all other AD's I called had 6-12 month waiting lists!!!
