Watches NEWS
Incoming......or not!
My friendly AD delivered me a Novelty Rose Gold which I wasn't quite ready for as I have had a few other incomings recently. I have owned one before (albeit not the newer 26401 version), and of course it is a fabulous watch. Still all stickered up etc..Should I keep it or sell it? Anyone want it if the latter?
Omega Country Code 33400
I recently purchased a used titanium blue face Omega Seamaster 2232.80.00 that came with the original boxes, instruction manual & the 3 cards: chronometer, pictograms, & international warranty. I was told the watch was purchased about 3 years ago as NOS. On the warranty card, the model & serial # were printed but the date spot was blank as was the dealer info box. Below the date box, anyone know which country code 33400 correlates to? I've tried searching but to no avail.I know 2011 refers to the US & 2025 refers to Canada. Also does anyone know when this particular model was discontinued?
Recommend AD - SE UK
Hi,A UK specific question this one. I'm looking to buy a number of pieces in the near future but one of the things holding me back is the AD. I'm looking to build a long term relationship so does anyone have any recommendations for any AD's in the South East (I'm guessing local for me would be S.London to Brighton, that kind of radius)?Cheers
I joined the club today...
This year its twenty years, since I live in Switzerland and I decided to celebrate this with a watch. I narrowed down my search to the few brands I like and finally decided to get a Rolex. The Explorers where long on my list but after some weeks ad different watch stores I bought myself a Submariner today and Im very happy. This forum was quite useful in the last weeks, so thank you all.
Procedure if Rolex can't repair my watch
I have a Rolex oyster day-date which needs servicing and repairs to the strap. It is an early 1960's gold president model. Rolex say they do not carry parts for this watch anymore and cannot repair. Is there anywhere else I can take it that specializes in Rolex watch repairs in the UK. I am frankly a little surprised that Rolex could not repair one of their own watches!!Please let me knowThanks
