Bell & Ross Rose Gold BR-02 Diving Watch Available On JamesList.com
Who needs a gold diving watch you ask? Well no one really needs one, but that isn't the point. The standard Bell & Ross BR-02 is the active version of the serious diving watch line. The version in gold is the dressy-sexy version that alludes to deep diving, but is meant for more congenial activities. The Bell & Ross BR-02 is the less known diving version of the wildly popular BR01 watch. In a similar size and character as the BR-01, BR-02 aims for the depths instead of the skies with an equally direct emulation of the best parts of the theme (diving as opposed to flying). The watch is about 44mm wide and constructed out of solid 18k rose gold. The dial is a sporty carbon fiber that does work with the overall design. Realize that the face is design to be extremely legible, which it is. This version has the Arabic numerals, which I like.Like all good diver watches the BR-02 has a rotating bezel, but an internal one (operated by the upper crown). Water resistance is dive worthy at
Garmin Forerunner 405 GPS Watch Finally Gets It Right
Garmin, maker of one of the best products coming out of America (design only, units are made abroad; sorry the US just isn't making too much good stuff these days), has attempted to make a few GPS watches in the past. The idea was pretty well taken; use GPS location technology to calculate things like running speed, distance traveled, etcCombine that with a heart rate monitor, and you have a great activity watch. The problem was that early models, such as the Garmin Forerunner 201 suffered from being impractical, too large, and god-awful ugly.Recently Engadget covered the upcoming release of the new Garmin Forerunner 405 GPS watch, that finally takes the Forerunner line of watches into something you might consider wearing outside the solitude nature. Looks are a combination of Suunto, Casio, and a little bit of Polar. Nothing to wear in a tuxedo, but certainly simple enough that you wont get the gawks people received for wearing the original Garmin Forerunner that looked like you were w
Incoming 3570.40
Had been casually looking for a speedy and really liked the 3570.40 with the racing dial. They don't come up that often Hodinkee had one on their Friday feature from HQ milton and it sold in an hour for $5500 with no papers. Then I found one all complete and pretty unworn but they guy wanted $7500!resorted to just doing a dial swap... Even was in Tokyo and asked everywhere and ppl just laughed or shook their head. Then while in Miami of all places one pop'ed up. it was head only but had the original hand tag and the serials all matched up! I paid what I think was fair considering they don't show up often and I was in town. Been love ever since. the color combo IRL is stellar and and the pics online can't even compare. been wearing it non-stop and its kindled a desire for more speedy's!Bought a 1125 for it (need proper end links, can anyone help? called around none avail) and love the 1125 its a cross between a jubilee and sub bracelet. Also looks IMO way better on a 1125 then the cur

New Root Beer GMT - Why no chocolate dial?
I really like the idea of the new root beer GMT with rose gold. However, I can't seem to think that a chocolate dial similar to the Yacht-Master dial would have taken this watch to a whole different level. I can't really tell if the Yacht-Master chocolate dial would match the tone of the new brown GMT bezel. Based upon the live photo (credit others), I tend to prefer the solid RG model with the black dial. Unfortunately, the RG and Steel model is the one in my budget! lol Maybe we will see this model upgraded next year with a chocolate dial.
