Linde Werdelin The Perfect V Comic Issue 2
Actually both issues 1 & 2 are merged into the PDF that you can download below. Linde Werdelin continues "The Perfect Five" comic with another episode/issue. I first wrote about Linde Werdelin creating comics here, and now the fun continues. On pages 11 and 12 my likeness makes a cameo as a decapitated head. This pretty much sums up how many watch brand want to see me.Download/read the PDF of Linde Werdelin's The Perfect Five comic here:The Perfect V_Episodes I and II
vintage AP Dress watches
Hi all what do you guys think of the above? I'm considering a vintage white gold model (mechanical wind) over the a typical Patek. Are these usually easy to service at most regular watchmakers?
Sell my speedmaster pro 3570 for ...
... the same watch? I bought mine NOS from a chain watch store in their pre-owned section. I wish I had bought it new: for no real reason ... just that new watch, only mine feeling. Absolutely nothing wrong with the watch, it's great. Now I have a chance to sell it to a friend. But I would just go to the Omega Boutique and buy another one. Maybe get the sapphire caseback so I can see that movement! Kind of dumb, I know ...
Any other?
OK, Basel is here (well just about!). And now that it is... A thought just crossed my mind? What other industry/company (it's not just Rolex) are able to enjoy a ten year+ product life cycle? And, the product (I'm sensing that the Coke GMT on a jubilee is the most anticipated) that is getting the most people excited is a decade plus old model being reunited with a part from the seventies!!!We all know the other ultra hot non Rolex models AP5202, PP 5711, both models 40 years old. What other luxury product that contains mechanical and aesthetical components can endure this lifecycle? Are we all mad?
GMT 16710 and the "old" Rolex sport watches....
Hi,As discussed many times before, the prices on pieces like 16710 are high at the moment. Do you think that this is due to some kind of hype or is this a situation that we will see long term? The pieces that are more semi vintage like 16610 and 16710, what do you think will happen then the new generation of gmt's will be presented? Will the 116710 be the new 16710...?Speculations, but what do you think?
