Southern California-based Reactor, maker of durable and progressive sport watches, has designed a special one-of-a-kind Diamond Nucleus watch to commemorate St. Louis Cardinals star first baseman Albert Pujols' stellar 2008 season. Considered one of the sport's best players, Pujols was voted the National League's Most Valuable Player in 2008. Reactor presented the special watch, featuring the Cardinals logo and Pujols's #5 on the dial, together with 2.25 carats of flawless VS1 diamonds on the bezel, to Albert at a Cardinals home game the week after the All-Star game. In addition, the company produced a second matching watch, which will be donated to the Pujols Family Foundation and auctioned off to raise funds for the charity.
