Mark Carson Ka La Ladies Watch On Kickstarter
Sponsored PostIn 2010, I started?Individual Design (now marketed as Mark Carson) with the goal of producing uniquely designed, high quality watches at affordable prices. It took 2 years to develop and begin deliveries of my men's Ka La ("The Sun" in Hawaiian) watches. Ever since those first customer deliveries in 2012, people have been asking for a ladies version of these unique watches with their signature case design and spinning seconds disk. With the design goals of a more modest size and price point, I began designing a Ladies Ka La Watch and I am now ready to begin production as soon as funding is secured. With a unique design inspired by the sundial, these ladies watches are elegant enough for a night out, while their contemporary design makes them suitable for daily wear. The retail price will be $400 when these watches are sold at selected fine watch and jewelry stores.OK, enough with the marketing-speak. It's On It's Way & I Couldn't Be Happier !
I've pulled the trigger on the new YG ROC Blue. I was able to source the watch in Europe as they seemed to have gotten the first deliveries. The watch being a new release is commanding high prices with discounts around the 15-20% in the US, not good enough for me. The EU AD happened to be losing its AP AD and offered me a 30% discount which includes the VAT refund plus payment by credit card so miles :). Should be on my wrist on Monday. Lots & lots of pics then. Here are some the AD sent me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

An explorer on Everest
A balmy afternoon on the east coast to ready my T16570 for the summer to come.Everest strap loving the AR cyclops. To those interested in comparing Everest and Rubber B, the Everest is thicker, slightly softer and a tad longer, but I prefer Rubber B because of its vanilla rubber scent, subtle but made a difference.I feel that Rubber B is better suited for the old / slimmer case, whereas Everest being slightly beefier is better suited for the 6 digit references, ie ceramics.
