Found: A Patek Philippe Split-Seconds Chronograph Signed By Tiffany & Co. In Completely Original Condition
Every watch guy's dream is to go up into his grandparents' attic, open up a dust covered shoe box, and discover an unmolested horological masterpiece. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen. And that is exactly what happened here with what could easily be described as a mega watch - a Patek Philippe Reference 1436 Split-Seconds Chronograph Retailed By Tiffany & Co. in NYC dating to 1960. And, what makes this particular piece so special is that it is literally untouched and unmodified in any way. It comes with the original crystal, strap, and buckle, and the thing hadn't even been serviced!Made in 1960 and sold by Tiffany's NYC in 1961, it doesn't get much cooler than a vintage Patek split-seconds chronograph. RO 15400 vs. Ceramic Diver (Orange)
Good morning! Does anyone have any comparison pictures of the RO 15400 vs. Ceramic Diver (Orange)? I guess any diver would do but my interest is in the ceramic version. I'm just curious on the difference in size thickness.I have toyed with the notion of flipping my 15400 for one but sadly there are no dealers in Georgia for me to go and compare myself.
Just joined the AP Club!
Just got my first AP - a ROO Panda! Watch fits great, wears comfortably, and I think will see lots of wrist time... Thanks to the members here for great information and pictures while I was deciding what to get. Been looking to consolidate my collection for a bit now, and over the weekend went from 9 down to 5, picking up the Panda and credit towards a potential future 15400...Only question I have is whether the AP GP blk/red strap will fit on a bracelet watch?
