Oris Williams F1 Team Day Date Watch For 2010
Continuing their partnership with the Williams F1 team, Oris has released a new motor sport watch for 2010 that is likely the nicest yet when it comes to a watch made for Williams. This is at least the fourth watch to come from the partnership, and it looks really nice in mostly black with a technical looking blue trim. Oris is further refining the dial design, offering a fascinating, yet polished look.The case itself is 44mm wide in DLC black. Notice the thin blue line that extends around the periphery of the side of the case. It is a neat little detail helping the case of the watch to stand out. The colors are also of course those of the Williams team. The little blue line is actually rubber, and Oris says it acts like a bumper to protect the case (a bit). Though with the DLC coating, it shouldn't need as much protection. The case of course has the special hinged lugs that help the watch be really comfortable, and comfortable it most certainly is. In addition to sharing with you an article I wrote for AskMenwatches-dealer about the cool IWC Da Vinci Ceramic Chronograph watch, I wanted to share images I took of the watch. It is probably the first IWC Da Vinci watch that I could see myself wearing. The automatic movement is the same as the one used in the new IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph watch, but the style is totally different. Who would have thought that IWC would have dreamed up a use for ceramic in their typically high-brow Da Vinci collection. A sporty Da Vinci you ask? Well yes, here it is. The unusually shaped tonneau steel case sandwiches black ceramic segments, and there is the pretty cool coated, woven fabric strap. The dial is quite three dimension with lots of areas of interesting and textures. The chronograph is for a full 12 hours, as the upper dial has two hands and is used for the minute and hours. Which PO Next?
So, right now I have the black dial/silver numerals PO and I love it. The PO is one of my favorite watches on the market and I want to get another. So, should I get the white PO in the next month or so, or hold out, save up, and get the blue LM PO in a while? My problem is that the blue is cool, really awesome, but is it a $2400 premium cool? Thanks!!!
