Watches NEWS
In-came-ing!
This got delivered last week but I'll spare you all the unboxing etc.26400AU forged carbon novelty.Always been a fan, always wanted one. I thought about the ceramic version for a good two or three weeks but at the end of the day I couldn't justify the price difference. (I do love ceramic though... My ceramic diver is my daily wearer)I always thought as an owner of the Ginza these two would be too similar for the same collection but after seeing it in person I believe it is an entirely different animal. It definitely wears large and in charge. One thing you don't get with ceramic is how the grain looks in sunlight and the weight is light and comfortable as forged carbon should be. Upon receiving the watch I slapped on the short strap and it fit perfectly. Quite the happy customer here !Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
I did a very bad thing.....
some of you guys may know after a few years hiatus I've recently come back to this site. Last month I purchased a new 39mm Explorer 214270. Not being content I placed an order for a BLNR (which should arrive 2nd week of Aug) So for a couple of weeks I stopped obsessing about Rolexes. Well browsing the omega forums was not a good idea for me either. I now have a 3570.50.00 incoming
Gondolo - I love it!!
Hi all,I have tried the 5124j on a couple of times now and am really impressed. I know it is not one of the most popular models but I am very hopeful this will be my next watch!Would love to hear from owners of the Gondolo, a few things I liked:- Yellow gold case with unique shape- Nice dial with gold appliqus- Curved reverse sapphire to hug the wrist- Movement especially made for the case shape and great finishHere are some pics of it on me and I have started saving so wish me luck!CheersAnuj
5980, with YG band
There are still several models I really like, but I prefer PM bands; the Nautilus 5980 is at the top of the list. Any comments or experience with this model. I currently have the 5146 with YG band.
