Arnold & Son DTE "Double Tourbillon Escapement" Watch
What do you get when you combine the Arnold & Son DBG and UTTE watches? The Arnold & Son DTE of course! Oddly, that even seems to make mathematical sense. For 2014 Swiss watch maker Arnold & Son will release this new limited edition double time, double tourbillon timepiece which is officially known as the "Double Tourbillon Escapement" watch. While it doesn't break new ground technically, it doesn't need to. This is all about visual and design excellence in the form of an admirably complicated watch from a brand that has been on a serious roll lately. To understand how the DTE came into existence it is a good idea to first look at the Arnold & Son DBG (watches-dealer review here) with its double balance wheels and double dials for the time. 15400 or 15300?
In Vegas currently looking at the 15400 as they dont have any 15300. Managed to grab a pic of it on, do you think it fits right or would i better with a 5300?
Looking for rubber strap opinions on a B-1.
Looking for rubber strap opinions on a B-1. Which do you think looks better? Ocean racer with deployant? Diver II with deployant? Polished or brushed finish? I have a black dial B-1 so I would be looking at a black rubber strap. Thanks in advance for your participation. Guy
Pam 627/657
Good afternoon all.I'm looking at replacing my GMTC with something a little different (non Rolex) and lately I've been revisiting the Panerai brand.I'm curious to hear what the forum members think of the new 627/657. The dial options look interesting and the offset micro rotor and thinner case design is intriguing. What say you all?
Yacht-master clasp
Hi,Does this bracelet clasp look legit? It is on a 16622 YM A serial number thus production year around 1999-2000. (Re: rolex crown on the swivel portion instead of on the body of the clasp)It also has solid end links (when did SEL appear on YM bracelets?)Are the center links suppose to be polished and the lateral links non-polished? (In this case, the whole bracelet is polished). What is the number that is suppose to be on the bracelet and SEL?Thanks!
