Help idetifying a Breitling
This may be a long shot as I dont have any photos. In the film 51st State with Samuel L. Jackson and Robert Carlyle, Jackson is seen wearing a Breitling just before he blows Meat Loaf up. Its been bugging me for years what type it was so any help would be great.Oh and its a very funny film by the wayregards M
Planet Ocean 8500 rubber strap and deployant MSRP
Does anyone happen to know the MSRP for the rubber strap and deployant buckle for the 45mm 8500 PO? I know what they go for on ofrei, but might be in the area of some dealers next week and if any of them had the straps in stock I wanted to know what the price comparison would be. TIA!
Santa left me a Speedy!!!!!
First off, Merry Christmas to everyone. I have to share some early morning shots of my new Speedy, another great Christmas in my house. The kids were up a 4 am making all kinds of noise downstairs, so my wife and I ended up just getting up at 4:30. I have to say that I was a little excited myself, because I was really hoping that Santa would leave my a new Speedy for me to enjoy, well he did and here are some pics. It has been a couple of years since I owned a Omega, way to long, the Speedy is one amazing watch. This one is a keeper for life and one that will forever see lots of wrist time. Last year he left me a GMT II blue/red, two years in a row that I have been a really good boy! Last years GMT II
Look What I Found....
And it only took me a couple of weeks.....
Well I thought I was going to be a proud new owner of a Rolex Explorer...
Well I thought I would be a proud owner of a new Rolex Explorer 1 (214270) yesterday but I thought wrong... (apologize for the long story telling...)I ventured into trying a new AD as my typical AD just sold the one they had in stock a week back. I also wanted to give a chance with this group as they came well regarded amongst the local watch community and they carried a couple brands exclusively that I might be interested in for the future. I did my research and decided to go with the Explorer for its subtlety over the No Date Sub. I fancy time only pieces and just loved the look of it for an everyday watch. I went and tried on the piece mid last week. Everything fit perfectly and decided it was for me. Now the “fun” part begins... Knowing the depth of our watch market and accessibility with both pre-owned, well respected non AD members, and even other non local ADs, etc I knew there are a variety options available for me. And given that, I set my expection for the piece.
