Antiquorum’s June 10 NYC Auction Has Something for Everyone
On Thursday June 10 at its New York City headquarters, Antiquorum will offer 364 modern and vintage timepieces for collectors of all stripes. Pre-sale viewings will be held in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Greenwich and New York. The highlight of the sale is a modern Patek Philippe Ref. 5104, produced in 2008, expected to sell for $500,000 to $700,000. The ref. 5104, shown below, is a minute-repeating, astronomic, self-winding, platinum wristwatch with perpetual calendar, retrograde date, moon phases and leap year indication. The watch is accompanied by the original fitted winding box.Another prize piece on offer is this rare Patek Philippe ref. 1518. Produced in 1946, this astronomic 18K yellow gold wristwatch features a perpetual calendar, square button chronograph, moon phases, register and tachometer. He has come home....My Omega SMP Chrono 2599.80. Got this one from a collector in Japan, with boxes and papers with red dot intact still. One of my very first auto chronograph which I flipped last year. Took 4 days to be delivered... that was fast!

Patek Love in the Latest Issue of Esquire
I'm a fan of his. Magneto, Steve Jobs, Inglourious Basterds. Very cool choice in watch wear, and proof that the aquanaut dresses up just fine. So Rolling Stones cover with McCartney and now Esquire. Good stuff.

5,000th Post with SOTC
What more is there to do on your 5,000th post than update everyone on your SOTC. Here's a brief pictorial of the current collection. I'm not sure what's next. I might hold out for the PepsiC when it comes to Rolex... I'd love to add a 5711 or a 5712 but who knows how long that will take...I've thought about a Patek. 5396R-012 also. New Arrival - Christmas Came Early
Pulled the trigger on a 116520 yesterday. Went back/forth between the 116520 or the DaytonaC and finally settled on this one. Both great watches but I fell in love with this watch several years ago and told myself I'd buy it if my financial situation allowed it. That day finally came and am thrilled to own this piece.This Daytona now joins my collection of 14060, 16710, and 1016.
