Piaget Polo Tourbillon Relatif Paris Watch: Unexpected Beauty With Intricate Architectural Etchings
Normally the introduction of yet another new Tourbillon would not be cause for announcement by me. Sure I have great appreciation for the complication, but in my opinion they are grossly over-priced and over lauded. On the other hand, when a tourbillon complication is tastefully incorporated in to a beautiful watch, it is worth noting. New for SIHH 2008, Piaget presents the Polo Tourbillon Relatif Paris. An absolute tribute to city of Paris. The face of the Piaget Polo Tourbillon Relatif Paris is of remarkable interest. Use of contrasting black and white colors (a favorite of mine) results in a patterned look of attention grabbing proportions. The tourbillon is integrated into what looks to be the hour hand; meaning that while the tourbillon itself revolves on its axis once each 60 seconds, the entire tourbillon mechanism travels around the watch as the hour hand. Alternatively, this is a one handed watch, where by one hand travels around the face each 12 hours. Those who will wear this
Need help 42 roo or 44 ceramic
I am thinking about taking the big dive into my first AP and was looking for some help if possible. I am trying to decide between the 42MM ROO most likely grey dial, or the 44mm Ceramic not sure on dial yet. This is a huge purchase for me and want to get all the opinions I can on it.any and all help is greatly appreciated.thank you all for taking the time.
The bird has landed!
well,I want to thank everyone for their input on this.. I pulled the trigger on the AP Legacy. It was between this and the RG ROO RC that I also like, but in person, the legacy steals the show hands down IMO.pics just dont do this watch any good. its big, its bold, its ceramic which is just as scratch resistant as a saphire crystal.. the strap is made from kevlar, it has rosegold pushers and other parts, to be honest, I think it has the best of everything. so I went with the legacy. They only made 1500 so in the long run, I could always get a 44 RG ROO but not a Legacy. It is a monster of a watch and it has the DLC/PVD look, but i dont ever have to worry about scratches which is the best part. I was told this is the very first watch Audemars has ever done with the entire case ceramic. The ONLY thing that turns be off about the RG 44mm Roo is that it has stick markers instead of arabic numbers. I prefer the numbers. That's why I kept the choice between the refereshed RG ROO RC and The L

Hello its been a while since I posted regarding my new POLM, which I have had now for about 6 months. Totally love the watch as it is never off my wrist. Originally posted some pretty terrible pics and said I would post some better ones when I could.
what's my 000 worth?
hi guys, I'm considering divesting my 000 in order to finance a grail, what is a fair value for it? first letter of the serial is J, was purchased ~2007 from the officine in florence. Crystal has a tiny chip between 12 and 1, and the lugs could use a polish from where i've (clumsily) changed straps :P I still have full B+Ps, OEM brown and black straps (~65% and 85% respectively), the OEM rubber, and a gunny 74. thx!
