AP 15300 vs 15400 Size
Hi Everyone,So i want to pull a trigger on a an AP.Ive tried on the 15400 and like it but it is a little big. Ive never seen a 15300 and dont have a chance to try it on. Ill just need to buy it and hope its the right size.I know about both so no need to discuss anything other than size. My question is between the two which has a thicker case? With has a thicker bracelet? And opinions on the deployment clasp of both? Also do they both sit on the wrist the same. I feel they are very flat backed watches.Im also consider the chrono's in 39mm and 41mm. How thick are those both in the case and the bracelet. Does the 39mm chrono use the same bracelet at the 15300.PS. I am not considering the 15202 which i believe is the best one. But due to price. Might as well get a PM model rolex imo.Thank you
Transocean Day & Date....any love for this one?
Hello Breitling fanclub,I posted this one another forum, but thought I would give a shout out to those here on TRF.I currently own a Breitling Chronomat and love wearing it. Looks great, and at 39mm, fits wonderfully on my wrist. To that end, I am considering getting another Breitling. I also own a SubC and an Omega Planet Ocean, BUT I keep getting dragged back into owning another Breitling.....I just love them for whatever reason.Looking for a more vintage look for my next purchase and was wondering if I could reach out to those here to see if there is any love for the Transocean Day & Date? Any input would be greatly appreciate......Pros or Cons.I really like the look and it does give me more or the vintage look I am seeking. At 43mm it is on the borderline of fitting my smaller wrist, but I would stretch for the purchase if need be in regard of the 43mm case size. Thanks so much in advance.
45.5mm Planet Ocean Chrono Review
Tried this watch on today, both with the rubber strap and the bracelet. First impressions are that is is very well made, and felt very solid - certainly in the same league as the Sub. Also, its massive!!! I have tried on various Panerai's and so on, but this thing just sits ON your wrist, with no attempt to follow the line of your wrist, as you might expect from a Panerai. This was good and bad. I like the boldness of it, but it looked a bit out of place on my skinny little girl-wrist! Both watches had the black bezel, but the rubber-strapped one has orange highlights on the face, which I think I liked a bit better. I don't rate the looks of the bracelet compared to say a Rolex Oyster bracelet, and so I think over-all I would opt for the strap version over the bracelet. However, as much as I have liked seeing other's ones on here, when it was actually there on my wrist it just wasn't for me. It just didnt do it for me enough and at that kind of cash, 3,150, you have to be 100%.We shal
First Panerai 111 or 312?
I'm really torn between which way to go here.I have tried on the 111 and found it fit really well but have never worn a 312. I'm heading in to try one on in the next few days and I'm sure that will make the decision easier. My main question is concerning the movement. Has anyone had any issues with the 312 or prefer one over the other? I'm not as worried about being auto or not. More about the performance/durability.I appreciate any thoughts.
