Audemars Piguet launched a new diver’s watch at SIHH last week. The Royal Oak Offshore Diver measures 42mm x 13.75mm and is powered by AP’s manufacture 3120 automatic movement. The ROO Diver meets or surpasses each of the Swiss watch industry norms (NIHS) for dive watches, including time preselection device, visibility, water resistance, anti-magnetic properties, resistance to shock and thermal variations, and resistance to external forces. Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean
Anyone here own this watch? I have been thinking of one of this. For those who have or had one, give me feedback good and bad.
Speedmaster- low demand?
I was in the maret for a Speedmaster, saphire sandwich. I eventually bought a pre-owned one in great condition. I love it.But while I was thinking about buying one, I went to a few local shops to see if it spoke to me.Nobody had the watch in for me to look at. They had some reduced Speedmasters and other Omegas but no 3573.50.00I was reading somewhere that the demand for the speedmaster is not high because it is manual wind and has no date. The lack of demand is why many shops do not carry it in stock. The sales person told me that because it is in high demand that they did not have one in stock. So which is it? Is the speedmaster pro a quick mover or a slow seller for stores?
An AD setup by TRF!
Some ADs are really good and some are really bad. There are some in between. Given the demand for certain models watches, the AD requires you to be on a list, or has unwritten terms and conditions, or play games, some lie and some want you to build a relationship or just spend a lot of $$! There are other shenanigans. What would be the ideal AD policies for sale? What if TRF members can setup an AD and sell watches to TRF members? What kind of terms and conditions for sales would you want? Or what kind of features would you all want from such ab AD? First come first serve? Transparent list? Online sales (though highly unlikely)? Buy only at list price or discount on all of them? Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk
