Everyone's favorite AP
I got my first AP a few weeks ago. I skipped the entry models and went straight for the 41mm RG ROC w/ black dial and black gator strap :D It's a beautiful watch and the current crown jewel of my collection. Since getting it, I've been reading the AP section of this site. I had thought about trading up to the 42mm RG ROO because I like the look of all RG vs the black ceramic bezel hiding the RG bloc behind it. After asking some friends, and one of my gfs, I decided to keep the ROC. She didn't like the too chunky look of the 42 rg ROO, preferring the classier better proportioned 41 ROC. The 44 is beautiful looking, absolutely, I just aesthetically want all RG on my new watch personally this time. I'm getting the impression that the overall most wanted/desired AP here is the 44 RG Ceramic ROO. Accurate? Do you have a different favorite AP?
Special Incoming!!!!
This is a special incoming for me. My wife and I are expecting our second child and first son in about a month from now. I’m a 2nd and my son will carry on the family name and be the 3rd. I decided to start a family tradition and buy this watch to one day give to my son so he could wear and enjoy with the understanding that he will continue the tradition and pass the family name and watch to his future son.My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon at AP so the brand has special meaning to us. While at AP they mentioned they could make a custom skeleton rotor with my initials on it. I plan to do this before giving the watch to my son.
She Has Arrived
Well it took a few extra days, but here she is. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1354767989.385947.jpg
Stolen Breitling
Hello to everyone,I had my Breitling stolen from my local gym at my locker in Burbank, CA. I know its stupid to keep it in there but go figure you sometimes make stupid decisions. In this case, the worst ive made to date. The watch was a Breitling Bentley Motors T. I have my serial card with the numbers and information, however i was wondering if anyone knew which number the backplate would display. Ive been going through craigslist and ebay for a long time now. This happend a few months ago. The police were of no help. I would really appreciate any help. I did change the front bezel to the Breitling Bentley motors model so the back place has the three cars. Any help would be awesomeThank youPeter
5146R or 5127R? Which would you choose?
Hello, Which would you recommend as a next watch purchase - 5127R or 5146R? Just posted on another forum but wanted to see what you guys think.I know everyone here likes the complications, in that sense these 2 can't be compared. However, I am mainly concerned in style and aesthetics of these 2 watches. Something that will look stylish and not dates many years to come. Say, Patek 5035 (previous model to 5146) does look dates and not so appealing to me. I am afraid that 5146 might do the same in the future. But, may be I am wrong. Of course the same can happen to 5127.Thanks!
