Hublot and Bode Miller Team Up for World Cup 2011 Season
After signing sponsorship deals with FIFA World Cup and Formula 1 racing, Hublot announces the renewal of its partnership with skiing star Bode Miller who became the most decorated U.S. skier in Olympic history with 3 medals in Vancouver. Hublot’s relationship extends through the 2011 World Championships, where it will be the official timekeeper. Hublot’s continuing partnership with Miller was announced at a New York City press conference and private luncheon, attended by friends and VIPs at Cipriani Wall Street. Attendees included Hublot ambassador and top model Veronica Varekova and supermodels Elena Kuletskaya, Kate Bock and Michelle McCallum. Hublot recently issued the limited edition “Bode Bang” (pictured below) to support Bode’s Turtle Ridge Foundation, which encourages kids to live healthy lifestyles through sports.

Some may know that I had a panda 18 months ago but I had a problem with the winding crown and I stated I’d lost confidence in AP. At that time I was a one watch man and generally a Daytona lover so this ‘minor’ problem made my mind up at the time that I was going back to Rolex. Delighted to say that my finances now allow me to indulge in a wider watch collection. I currently have a white gold Daytona and a new Seadweller 43. This is my non Rolex watch. Patek 5712 as next watch???
Hi, thinking of purchasing 5712 SS as a next watch (debating against 5711). Currently own a Daytona. Would like to hear some feedback from actual owners in regards to watch in generaL ( certain likes and dislikes). Is it anymore delicate than a Daytona in regards to scratches?Have not tried on the watch yet but definitely will. What kind of discount have some you received that purchased the piece in the US from AD?Thanks for all the feedback
