Ralph Lauren Slim Classique Square
The Ralph Lauren Slim Classique collection represents modern watchmaking with classical, slender proportions that recall a bygone era. For 2011, Ralph Lauren introduces a new square design inspired by the grand era of Art Deco style. Find technical information, wallpaper and pricing inside. In an age of increasingly large watches, this timepiece is tastefully restrained at just 27.5mm wide. The case is available in rose gold or white gold, including a guilloch reference (shown below).Beneath the classic Art Deco dial with its concentric squares and mixed Arabic and Roman numerals is a caliber RL430, made by Piaget for Ralph Lauren. This ultra-thin manual-winding movement beats at 21,600 vph and offers a 40 hour power reserve. The Ralph Lauren Slim Classique Square is priced at $12,600 in red gold, $13,800 in white gold, and $15,200 in white gold with guilloch. Hands-On: The Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum, A New Case Shape, Size, And Colourful Dial For The Maison's World Time Function (Live Photos, Specs, Price)
The newest version of the Montblanc "Orbis Terrarum" flew a little under the radar when it was introduced C which happens when the timing coincides with a new Annual Calendar Chronograph with a list price of $10,450. But it's still odd given the reception its predecessor received when this model first launched at SIHH 2015. 1 OF 10 Montblanc's new world timer, the 4810 Orbis Terrarum. The original Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum was exactly the kind of watch we want to see more of C a simple, yet elegant complication with an in-house module for under $7,000. So we were thrilled when Montblanc decided to show more of it, 12 months later, this time in the 4810 collection. 2 OF 10 Originally presented in a 41 mm stainless steel or red-gold case, the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum is Montblanc's take on the classic world time function. It displays the time anywhere on earth at any given moment, thanks to an intuitive and surprisingly legible multi-layer
Rolex and AP duo?
I'm curious if anyone here has both Rolex and AP watches and can speak to the pros and cons of both. I'm going to try on a Royal Oak 15400 for the first time later this week and, coming from a GMT-Master, I'd like to know how much different the AP is in terms of heft and flashiness.
Anyone contacted John Evans lately?
Sent him a few emails a few weeks ago and haven't gotten a response. Planning to call him tomorrow but was wondering if someone here has had contact with him either by email or phone in the past week? Thanks.
