At SIHH, Girard-Perregaux’s Haute Horlogerie collection will be enhanced by the addition of a model inspired by its history and its complication: the Girard-Perregaux 1966 Tourbillon with Gold Bridge. Expressing the essence of Girard-Perregaux watchmaking tradition, it will be available in an edition of 50 individually-numbered pieces.In the mid-19th century, Constant Girard-Perregaux created a timepiece that was awarded a first-class prize by the Neuchatel Observatory. Its tourbillon movement featured three parallel bridges, under which the barrel, center wheel and tourbillon were aligned. In this innovative concept, the tourbillon served not only as a technical and funcational component, but as a design element as well. Breitling Super Avenger II vs Avenger Hurricane
So far I have a Panerai Pam 90 and a Rolex Two tone bluesy Submariner. I want to add a 3rd watch to the collection and this time I want a Breitling. I like the 24 hour display and large 50mm size of the Avenger Hurricane but I wonder if its worth substantially more than the Breitling Super Avenger II which is a 48mm. Also the Hurricane is made of a new Breitlight material which is basically plastic for a watch that has an MSRP for $8,390. If you had to choose one over the other which one would you go for and why? I like my watches bold and flashy with wrist presense instead of being low key and flying under the radar. Save my money and go with the Super Avenger 2 or spend the extra $ and get the 24 hour display and 50mm case of the Avenger Hurricane?

PO 2500 on a NATO strap
I tried on a planet ocean 2500 with a really thick but comfortable NATO strap.It was such a comfortable fit for me, as most Omega divers are just too big for me. Does anyone else believe that the PO 2500 will become as, or near as popular as the speedmaster Moonwatches...This watch was not for sale, which made me want it even more, I believe...How about some photos of the PO 2500 on any strap...

Seamaster 60 (London area)
Ive just got a hold of an Omega Seamaster 60, 1970/71 Ref: ST 166.0062 Calibre 565.The watch is in very good conditon for its age and works perfectly but has some scuffs on the case.Could anybody recommend a watchmaker in or around the London area to carry out a refub and service.Thanks in AdvanceFitchy
