Even though he has created many very complicated watches, French watchmaker Francois-Paul Journe has always been interested in accuracy above all. His newest timepiece, the Chronom��tre Optimum, which made its debut last week at the F.P. Journe boutique in New York City, takes the quest for timekeeping precision to a new level.The Chronom��tre Optimum, which Journe calls the “masterpiece” of his eponymous brand’s Souveraine collection, incorporates in its manufacture movement all of the technologies that Journe has developed �� which have previously debuted in other Souveraine watches �� to ensure ideal timekeeping precision and stability.The new watch includes a double barrel with two springs, in a parallel arrangement that helps to reduce friction by eliminating the lateral pressure on the wheel. Linde Werdelin Spidolite Updated In Gold, Titanium, And A New Movement
Announced on the eve of Baselworld 2015, Linde Werdelin has dropped a duo of Spidolite models that feature a new movement and updated dial designs. Officially launching the 4th generation of the Linde Werdelin Spidolite series, these limited edition pieces will be available later this month in either titanium or rose gold.The form factor of the case remains unchanged from the Linde Werdelin Spidolite's decidedly-cool older siblings, with a width of 44mm and a thickness of 15mm. These new Linde Werdelin Spidolite watches use anti-reflective sapphire crystals and have a water resistance of 100m (330 ft). The dial design has been changed over that of previous models with a more open view of the movement thanks to additional skeletonization. Possible PAM 372 acquisition
Hey guys,I have the possibility of purchasing this 372 from a close friend. He used to wear it a lot, but now cant even remember when was the last time it saw some wristime, probably more than a year ago. It is beat up, with a lot of scraches on the cristal and case, but I could get it in very favourable condition and price if I really intend to stay with it. Would love to hear your thoughts on this model, since I am no Paneristi, although I do own some models: 273, 424 and 449, so this would be my first Luminor. Also, I really dont like the original strap, definetely would change it, if you have some pictures do share i would appreciate. Thanks.
