2014 celebrates 20 years of A. Lange & S?hne?'s iconic Lange 1 watch. It was launched when A. Lange & S?hne? relaunched in the early 1990s, and today remains their most distinctive timepiece with its balanced, yet asymmetric dial. In honor of the 20th Anniversary of the A. Lange & S?hne? Lange 1, the German watch maker has released a limited edition version of its Lange 1 Tourbillon, known as the A. Lange & S?hne? IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph Watch
Finally a boat themed watch that people will be comfortable using on a boat. Since its inception long ago, the IWC Portuguese watch was meant as a nautical companion. As its popularity and luxury level grew, so did people's reluctance to subject their beautiful IWC Portuguese watches to the elements. For for 2010 IWC has released a more sporty, but no less luxurious form of the Portuguese watch known and the Yacht Club Chronograph. It is instantly recognizable as a Portuguese but clearly has a nice sporty elegance to it. Not aggressive in anyway, but tastefully functional - exactly the reason people prefer Portuguese watches. Differences between the standard Portuguese watches and the Yacht Club are subtle, but apparently. Notably are the colorations on the dial, the luminant on the hands, and of course the rubber straps. Wearing a Patek everday
Hello,My personal goal watch is a Patek Phillipe 5960p in Platinum with the grey dial and brown strap.I currently have a Rolex Daytona as my daily watch, it's comfy and strong. It's scratched but that never bothers me as its made for handling any situation whether its formal or casual, gym or beach. After achieving(forceable future) my personal goal of getting a Supercar and Superwatch. The Supercars are meant to be used for special occasions or weekends(basically whenever the weather is great). However will the honeymoon effect with cars and watches be the same, I know if you drive a Ferrari on a daily basis it wont feel as special as an owner who reserves the car for special occasions (Bring the big guns out).If I get a 5960p would it be advisable to use on a daily basis, how is the platinum to scratches. The SS of Rolex can be polished every-now and then and will look brand new.
