Swiss Watch Exports Rebound Strongly in 2010
2010 saw a strong recovery in Swiss watch exports following the significant downturn recorded in 2009. The sector exported the equivalent of 16.2 billion francs or 2.9 billion more than the previous year. This 22.1% increase makes 2010 the second best year ever, even higher than 2007, which was considered to be excellent at the time. The recovery kicked in starting in January and never eased up. Every month showed an upward trend, often in excess of 20% and even reaching 30% in March and June. Growth accelerated each quarter, with second half exports increasing by 24.3% compared with 19.6% in the first half of the year.ProductsWristwatches accounted for nearly 94% of the value of exports by Swiss watch manufacturers in 2010, recording an increase of 22.7% to 15.1 billion francs. The corresponding number of timepieces also increased sharply, rising to 26.1 million units. This is the highest level achieved since 2002, reflecting growth of 20.4%.Steel, the material of choice for more than
Strap Question
I have the panda Omega Speedmaster date chrono on a bracelet and am looking for a strap option for it. I like the Cordura strap, but can't find it as an option to buy separately (is this available from somewhere to buy as just the strap?) If not Ive seen some other nylon/kevlar straps, but not sure what size i need to fit...20mm lugs and 18mm buckle? Is this correct?Below is my watch:Thanks in advance

PAM 326 blue face titanium chrono?
Hope everyone is well. I'm considering selling my 326, as I want to make room for some other things. It was my first Panerai, then I got the dirty dial, PAM 24 and the PAM 88. I think I burned out! it is 46/500 and is spectacular condition. I'm curious about the general level of interest in this watch. I never see it on the street, is it a rare piece? General value suggestions or opinions would be welcome. I originally bought it used at Tourneau so I have a receipt, and a wood box. No papers. Check out some photos!
SkyDweller + 40mm sports model
Hi everyone,Any SkyDweller owner here who also owns a 40mm sports model? Knowing the difference in size, is there an “adjustment” period when switching between these two watches? Isn’t it a bit odd having the “dressier” watch larger than the sports watch?Currently have a 16710 and am thinking of adding a black or white dial SkyDweller. I don’t know if the dial color would make a difference in terms of “variety “ if I chose the white dial, since I already have the GMT. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
