IWC Connect Is Another Swiss Watchmaker's Answer To The Smartwatch
IWC Connect is an electronic module that will be included on some IWC watch straps, adding fitness tracking functionality to IWC watches, as well as the ability to connect to the Internet of Things (IoT). The first IWC watches to get IWC Connect will be those in their Big Pilot's watch collection. In concept, IWC Connect is very similar to the Montblanc E-Strap (hands-on here), which was a "smart" notification and fitness tracking module that watches-dealer debuted in late 2014 (which garnered a remarkable amount of opinion). Each of these solutions conveys the very specific message by traditional watchmakers that they understand their customers want to enjoy the latest technology, but don't want to feel as though they are giving up (or having to make a difficult decision about) their traditional mechanical watches that they so enjoy. Both IWC and Montblanc are part of the Richemont Group, which has for a long time been seen as a testament to traditionalism in the watch industry. Nevert
Graham Geo.Graham The Moon Watch Now In A White Gold Case With Black Dial
Graham has just announced a new version of its Moon Watch, which has an oversized moon phase indicator and flying tourbillon. It now comes in a 18k white gold case, with a black sapphire bezel and a black dial decorated with diamonds C all brought together in an effort to make the beautiful and gigantic Moon stand out on the dial even more.Graham is a curious brand. And I think most people associate them with large and flashy sport watches, not to mention also their signature - and frankly humongous - crown protection system, as found on their Chronofighter and Prodive models. However, unknown to many, Graham also has a line of more classically styled watches, under their Geo.Graham collection. Geo actually has two meanings here. Firstly, Geo is short for George, or rather George Graham, the English watchmaker that the brand gets its name from. Secondly, Geo also refers to geology and that the watches in this collection are somewhat inspired by this subject C or rather astronomy, to b
AP 15400 price increase
Quite surprised to see how much AP 15400 preowned trading today. Why the price surges? Do you think it is affected by PP 5711's craze?Hopefully it will continue to increase though, make me relieved I bought it for good price last December. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Early 861 Speedmaster with chocolate dial?
I own a few early Speedmasters and I've noticed that one of them has a dial that is a deep, rich, chocolate brown colour whereas the others are undoubtedly black. It's not thhat obvious and I only noticed when I put 3 of them together but it is noticeable. My camera isn't great so I'm not sure if the picture shows it but it's the one in the middle. It's a 1969 cal 861 ref 145.022-69.I believe this is quite unusual but not unique. Does anyone have any further information on this? Thanks - Simon
