Introducing The MeisterSinger Paleograph, A One-Handed MonoPusher Chronograph (Details & Pricing
MeisterSinger produces watches that are an exercise in restrained utility. You may be familiar with the?Singular, the brand's single hand time-only watch, and at this?year's SalonQP, MeisterSinger introduced the latest addition to its niche range of single-handed watches: the Paleograph. Harkening back to the early days of watchmaking, the Paleograph uses a single button to control the chronograph function to go with its signature single-hand time display. It wasn't until after World War I that chronograph wristwatches received a second button for zero-reset, and it is this era that the Paelograph recalls.?The watch uses the MSYN13 manual winding movement with 46-hour power reserve, a caliber based on the Unitas 6497 pocket watch movement. The goal here is to combine the zeal of modern watchmakers with the know-how and tradition of robust column wheel chronographs. 2 OF 2 MeisterSinger Paleograph Blue Dial And Movement The Paleograph comes in a stainless steel case si
Thoughts on a used (2004) Speedmaster Day-Date : 3520.50?
Hey, What are your guys' thoughts on a used 2004 Speedmaster Day-Date : 3520.50? How high should I expect to spend on one of these? I'm a big fan of what appears to be an aircraft date hand.Happy Tuesday!Steve
two watch collection
I've been spending too much time on this forum and it's bad for my health. Considering consolidating my collection to two watches. Flipped the 5167a since it didn't sing to me quite like I had hoped, and same for my offshore. Been thinking about the 5164, 5167r, 5712, AP 15202, or smurf sub. JLC Jubilee ultrathin platinum would be the other watch. I'm waiting for the 5711, but it's been a year at my dealer still with some others ahead of me, so im not going to hold my breath for that one. I'm also particular to the dual time of the 5164, and the chocolate dial of the 5167r. Smurf sub seems like an ideal only watch, but I was irritated by the flak I got for my 16610lv just because it was a rolex (even tho I never got comments on my ap or patek or jlc). Just curious what everyone's thoughts are.
First Patek, I want something iconic..
Hello gents! I am about to open Pandora's box and dive into the world of Patek. For my first piece, I would want something iconic and in yellow gold.. I have narrowed down my choices to the 5119J and the 5196J. Just wanted to ask the opinion of the experts as to which Calatrava model best represents the brand. Kinda like what the 5513 is to Rolex (my favorite watch of all time).Cheers and many thanks!!!
What do you do when you go overseas?
I'm flying overseas and plan to take three of my rolexes. Do I need to take receipts or proof of purchase from the US with me so that when I'm reentering back in the US they don't ask to collect customs? Thanks
